Marketplace Support

Icora publishes marketplace content from a project, not from a single loose file. Before you publish, make sure the project contains the processed assets you actually want buyers to receive, because the listing packages the full processed project as one marketplace item.
Before You Publish
- Finish the project first: Publishing uses the project's processed items as the pack contents.
- Pick a strong cover image: You can use the project cover or choose one processed asset as the marketplace thumbnail.
- Check your tier limits: Marketplace listings are limited by plan.
- Set a clear style label: Buyers use the listing card and detail page to judge fit quickly.
Fields You Must Set
| Field | What It Does | Guidance |
|---|---|---|
| Title | Primary listing name | Make it descriptive and searchable. |
| Description | Explains the pack contents | State intended use, visual style, and what is included. |
| Price | Pack price in credits | Use free for reach, paid for premium or production-ready packs. |
| Category | Icons or Illustrations | Choose the category that matches the project output. |
| Style | Search and browsing context | Use consistent naming buyers will understand. |
| Cover Image | Preview image on the listing | Choose the most representative and readable asset. |
Remix Settings
Each listing also has a remix policy. You can disable remixing, allow free remixing, or require a paid remix license. If remixing is enabled, you can separately decide whether remixes stay private or can be republished to the marketplace.
- No remixing: Best for tightly controlled premium packs.
- Free remixing: Good for open collaboration or reach.
- Paid remixing: Lets you charge a remix fee in credits when others build from your pack.
- Republish allowed: Use this if you want downstream creators to build commercial variants on top of your original pack.
What Buyers Receive
Buyers get the contents of the processed project and can download them in the file format determined by the pack contents. Icora derives the listing format from the project data, favoring SVG when vector content is the majority.
Pro Tip
A polished thumbnail helps discovery, but the real conversion driver is consistency across the whole pack. Do not publish a mixed-quality project just because one thumbnail looks good.
Common Reasons a Pack Feels Unready
- Inconsistent stroke or shape language across items.
- Weak thumbnail choice that does not represent the full pack well.
- Minimal description that leaves buyers guessing what is included.
- Unclear remix policy for a pack intended to be collaborative.
- Publishing too early before vectors have been cleaned and optimized.
Publishing should be the last step of the workflow, not the first. Use the project and Studio stages to remove doubt before you ask buyers to trust the listing.
